These were the Sept 30th 2006 observations :-
"The surface at Southwell was renewed in October 2004.
Initially throughout the winter of 2004/5, these 5F races didn't favour a minority of stalls significantly, but from April 2005 to Sept 2006, stalls 1 to 6 won 3 of every 4 races."

Another significant trend appeared to be a lack of winners from the Top 3 stalls.
Those results could have been an indication of the course settling after re-surfacing, a drainage problem, just coincidence, or you may have your own theory.
Whatever the cause, Southwell 5F results have shown a more even spread since October 2006.

Results have been very even Oct 2006 - Feb 2007.
On all charts combined, the Bottom half won 64 of 104 races 61%, Top half 34 of 104 races 32%.
Stalls 1 to 6 won 69 of 104 races 66%.

On Standard/Slow going, results shown in red, stalls 1 - 6 won 5 of 7 races.
Standard/Slow going is most likely to occur after hard overnight frost.
