Most draw advantage advice for
Sandown concentrates on 5F races, but sometimes, television presenters may
advise a High draw advantage in Sandown 1m and 7F races.
Any advantage in these races is very marginal, and the very slight bias
favouring Low stalls on the chart could easily be coincidence.
This is a right handed course and distance, with the stalls usually placed High
against the inside rail, so logically, we would expect High numbers to have an
advantage.
During the last 9 years, an advantage favouring High stalls has not
materialized.
A very weak pattern.
On good or better going, the Bottom half, Top half split favours the
Bottom half of the draw, 44 wins against 37.
Stalls 1 to 6 won 49 of 86 races 56%.
The Top 6 stalls won 40 of 86 races 46%
5 other winners were drawn dead
centre.
Results are spread across most stalls on all types of going throughout this
chart.
Any bias has been very marginal.
A mile is a very long distance in draw advantage terms, so with such low
percentages, we should not expect a reliable series of results in future races.
All pretty obvious stuff really.
There is no recommendation.
